Damn, this bronchitis sucks. I’d like to think that the PKD and dialysis should give me an exemption from other ailments (preferably from things like heart disease and cancer, too). But no, in addition to the life-sucking powers of dialysis (perhaps an unfair description of the life-saving procedure), I’m still getting sick from non-PKD-related things. However, I could argue that I might not have bronchitis right now if the temperature at dialysis didn’t dip to 58 degrees last Wednesday night. I’ve been feeling lousy ever since last Thursday morning.
This is one of a few reasons I am not at dialysis tonight. In addition to not wanting to deal with the Wheel-of-Temperature, I want to have control over my sleep conditions when I’m already feeling so lousy. It doesn’t say a lot for my dialysis treatments when I choose to stay home for the good of my health.
Anyway, I didn’t want to rant too much here. Aremid was comforting me as usual, and I noticed that he bore a striking resemblance to one Wilford Brimley.
2) How did Wilford Brimley cross the road?
He doesn’t need to cross the road. Liberty Medical brings his diabetes testing supplies right to his front door!
(My friend K came up with the punchline).
