Mike and I live in Wake Forest (NC), and we are almost certain that our dog, Blackie, may have been Herman’s brother. Blackie died last Saturday of cancer, and our hearts are broken. We adopted him from the Wake County Animal Shelter in January 2001, and he was guessed to be about a year old at the time.
