Killing time in waiting room of duke urgent care. I’m not here for anything urgent. This has become my defacto primary care place since I’ve been disappointed by the primary care places I’ve tried over the past couple of years.

Nasal congestion, sore throat, cough for about five days now. Probably nothing more than allergies but I’ve now missed a couple of days of work I can’t afford to miss, and taking the OTC med of the day hasn’t helped, so I’m here even though it’s usually a crapshoot if I am to get an antiviral or antibiotic.

I’ve slept most of the past five days. Here’s an homage to that.

I’ve seen a really nice PA. She tells me I’ve got bronchitis. I guess it’s good I came in.
